We are actually contacting the domain registrar directly to avoid making a mockery of the situation; the person owning a related domain owns our domain, registered business, brand, and trademark in the .net form and is defaming and slandering our business as well as my own personal name including my personal information such as address publicly and is humiliating with deception.

I am hoping that the domain registrar will comply. I used to be a frequent customer of the domain registrar that I sent the order to. I just wonder, will they need any proof? I showed them archive.org documentation and a well explained letter and used a template of yours - the second one under Google's - heavily modified to hopefully get this domain over to us.

[...] Re: OK to use "Google" or "Yahoo!" in domain/product name? Here's an actual Google cease & desist letter sent to someone using the word Google in their domain name: Domain Name Abuse: Sample Cease And Desist Letters For Google, Mass Mutual, And American Express Just because it's possible to find websites using a trademarked word in their website URL that hasn't been shut down yet doesn't give you permission to do the same thing. Your buddy may not have gotten a D.U.I. yet for driving home drunk from the bar every night... does that mean it's legal? [...]
